Usually, Fireworks are used to celebrate important events or occasions such as the 4th July Independence Day, Singapore’s National Day (9th August) or even the grand opening ceremony of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games held in the capital of China. Dubai, UAE has been on the record books for the past few years of staging the world’s most expensive and largest fireworks display. During New Year’s 2007/2008, the display, meant honor Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision for “The New Middle-East,” was set up in over 20 locations along the Dubai beachfront and all of Dubai’s private sector were invited to support the project.
