Did Toronto’s CN Tower just multiplied by two? Well, according to Google Street View, the answer is yes. Users testing out the new Google Street View of Toronto and other Canadian cities realize that Toronto’s tallest tower has a twin. A glitch in Google’s new ‘Street View’ of Toronto shows not one, but two, CN Towers side by side.
Peggy Mooney of Heritage Toronto, one of Street View’s partners, explained what may have happened to the panoramic image. Mooney told the Toronto Sun, “I looked it up and saw that view inside the CNE where you can see the two CN Towers…it may be the way they put together their images and the way they stitch them together when they take shots.”
