Finally, here comes the ‘Chrome IE Tab‘ extension created by Blackfish Software and featured on ChromeExtensions.org, a site where Chrome Extension developers showcase their work to Google Chrome users. This newly-released extension allows users to run IE from within a tab in Chrome, without leaving the web browser. This is particularly useful as some web pages can only be viewed properly on IE. Whenever Chrome displays a web page, the Chrome IE Tab extension checks to see whether the web page should actually be displayed using IE. You designate these pages by setting up Auto URL filters.
As the extension is still a very early build, it gets a little buggy once in a while. Alright, I’ll turn a blind eye, since we only get extension support in somewhat buggy dev builds.
