64% of people still buy CDs?! WOW, that’s quite a lot! I always thought with the exponential growth of digital media retailer market like iTunes, and the rise of piracy issues (which is happening all over the world, especially in China), the number of music fans purchasing CDs would only make up a small percentage of music industry. Yes, the numbers are falling (16% from 2007 to 2009), but it’s still rather high. And the growth is slowing too. Check out the infographic below…
