Apparently, EA Sport Active, an exercise video game consisting of activities that use the motion controls of the Wii platform, is currently developing a football fitness game for men. Known as “NFL Trainer”, the main objective of the game is to allow players to do football-based exercises, helping them brush up on their technique and skills. According to Destructoid, “The new game will also coach players on how to throw footballs, and give you advice on how to perfect throws. There’s also talks about a football-shaped attachment that could come with NFL Trainer.”
EA Sports Active, which is built on the solid foundations of its predecessor to offer a more well rounded home exercise experience, is “exclusive” only to ladies (although some men still use it), enabling them to lose weight and maintain a healthy figure.
A couple of weeks ago, EA Canada’s Community Manager, Alain Quinto said on Twitter that EA Sports will be revealing a brand-new game. Will it be a football fitness game targeted at men or yet another game for the ladies? Well, we shall wait and see…
