Yesterday, New York-based company has quietly released the Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars game into the Apple App Store. Priced at $9.99, the Chinatown Wars iPhone version is much cheaper than its Nintendo DS version, which comes with a price tag of $30.
The game follows the story of Huang Lee, a young Triad who travels to Liberty City after the mysterious death of his father. Players will navigate their way through the streets as they uncover the truth behind an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate, delivering the unprecedented amount of depth that has become a true trademark of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
When Chinatown Wars was first launched on the DS, it achieved positive responses and is currently the highest rated Nintendo DS game ever on GameRankings, with an average review score of 93.02%. Will the iPhone version hit the jackpot too?
