WordPress is a platform known to let people blog. But the creator of Jangsher, Manu Gill, has modified WordPress to become a social network. The website has a really interesting concept.
The whole concept behind Jangsher is to ask a question, share something, or share an idea. When you post something new, it shows up on the homepage. People are allowed to comment and share their thoughts without signing up. WordPress is theme based. It’s ideal you don’t do any back-end coding or modifying. But Manu decided to recode a couple things and install plugins to make this work.
I like the whole concept and it is a really nice website. I won’t be using the product until there is an API. I just go to so many websites I can’t add in another one. I will certainly use it when an application will be available so I can use it on my desktop.
