First of all I’d like to apologise to both the readers of TechXav and my fellow writers for my distinct lack of posts recently ( I haven’t been posting anything for around a month or so). I have been fully absorbed in Exams recently (I have my first in two days time) and boy, I do HATE exams. My Social Networking life almost disappeared. ALMOST disappeared. No, not completely. OrSiSo saved my life.
OrSiSo stands for Organize, Simplify, Socialise. And I completely agree. I blogged about OrSiSo from a reviewer point of view about two months ago. Now, you get to hear my personal testimonial. Picture this: I’m sitting at my desk, with the computer to my right. Music is playing in the background (I use Real Player). There is a science (Maths, English e.t.c) textbook staring me in the face and I’m bored to tears. Almost literally bored to tears. ALMOST. If an OrSiSo pop-up didn’t appear in the next minute.
Thankfully, OrSiSo allows me to choose whether I want updates every hour, every five minutes, every minute or… it doesn’t get better than that. I can connect to Facebook, Twitter, MSN, AIM, Flickr, Friendster, Bebo, ICQ, Linked In, GTalk and Facebook Chat. All you need to do is install the application ( it runs on Adobe AIR), which doesn’t take very long, and you’re off. If you have a friend who has a variety of accounts, you can merge them all under one profile. Wonderful really to be fair.
The only cons I can find with OrSiSo is that  (whilst using it) I can’t change my ‘personal message’ on MSN, I can’t add photos to Flickr, I can’t post on Facebook and I can’t add friends using OrSiSo. In fact, I can even post Twitter and Facebook updates simultaneously, if I wish. It is truly brilliant for this rather stressful period of time (Trust my mum to disagree! She says to wait till I get a big business deal to feel really stressed!).
So, if you’re a working individual, a stressed child, or a stay at home mum (or anything else, I am of course not referring to an Extraterrestrial.) I thoroughly recommend that you visit the OrSiSo website after reading this post and download OrSiSo.
Just to end on a high note, if I were a Doctor, I would prescribe this as a treatment for depression, it is truly a great way to get back to society.
