Before the redesign and construction of the 150,000-square-foot office, each of every Facebook employees were consulted to find out what they wanted and what would their work experience better and more productive.

Acquired by search-engine giant Google in November 2006 for US$1.65 billion, YouTube is currently the world’s most popular video sharing website. 3. MySpace
Headquartered at Beverly Hills, California, USA, where it shares an office building with its immediate owner, Fox Interactive Media (owned by News Corporation), MySpace was overtaken internationally by main competitor Facebook in April 2008, based on monthly unique visitors, according to comScore.
