Yes, it is a new way to control your web browser by simply using your face. Opera 10 Alpha can already do that, it is a really wonderful feature that only requires a WebCam and of course your wonderful face.
Users can use different smilies to make their web browser go forward, back, refresh, scroll, zoom, etc. This is a product by both Opera Software and Norwegian Intelligence Service. The most amazing thing is that it uses only HTML, Javascript and CSS to enable you to enjoy the entire process.
Jon von Tetzchner, the Opera CEO stated that Opera is able to support mouse control, key shortcut control and voice control. Currently, there is only the face control available to users and the folks there are still testing out the other exciting features. It’s quite interesting to use your face to perform 45 different functions. If you’re using Opera now, just press F8 and activate face control feature for your web browser now!
