Most top-notch airlines like Singapore Airlines and Virgin America offer in-flight entertainment to its passengers. For example, Singapore Airlines passengers on some flights have access to a number of Super Nintendo games as part of its KrisWorld entertainment system. And Virgin America’s new RED Entertainment System provides passengers internet gaming over a Linux-based operating system. However, if you’re an avid gamer but you aren’t satisfied with the games offered by these airlines, then Jin Air, a subsidiary of Korean Air, is here to help by renting PSPgo consoles to passengers at an affordable price.
The new PSPgo rental service, which is currently available for flights out of Incheon, allows passengers to borrow a 16GB PSPgo for just 4,000 won (US$3.50). Neither Sony nor Jin Air specifies what types of games would be loaded on the game console. Some suitable ones would be Patapon, LocoRoco: Midnight Carnival, and Persona 3 Portable.
Launched in October last year, the PSP Go is a handheld game console that doesn’t feature a UMD, unlike previous PSP models. Instead, it has a 16GB of internal flash memory to store games and videos.
