Founded in February 2009, TechXav is a technology blog written by a group of young and zealous teenagers, ranging from the age of 11-16. We cover different aspects of technology – social media, latest technology news, reviews of start-ups, useful apps, and gadgets. Our main objective is to share our knowledge and personal thoughts, especially from a youth’s perspective, to adults and even our fellow peers too.
Thanks for visiting TechXav and don’t forget to ‘Subscribe to our RSS Feed‘ or ‘Follow us on Twitter‘ for the latest technology updates!
Founder and Co-Editor
My name is Xavier Lur, and I am the founder and main editor of this tech blog. Together with Zhou Tong, we co-founded AskForia (a social Q&A platform) and xWaylab. While on the computer, I will usually be on Twitter, reading the latest news and managing my social profile on Facebook.
Currently, I am just a 16-year-old student who loves blogging and keen to share my tech knowledge with all you guys via this blog. Running this tech blog is just one of my interests and a place for me to kill time.
I blog on TechXav about Web 2.0 apps, online tips and news. I have vast experience in technology (especially the Internet), search engine optimization (SEO), web designing, the blogosphere and even the Twitterverse.
I live with my family in Singapore and study in Maris Stella High School. Besides having a strong passion for technology, I also enjoy sports like badminton and soccer.
Careers Goals:
Most of you guys will think that I’ll make a living from blogging or something related to technology. However, you’re wrong. I’ve planned to put professional blogging as part of my hobby and my main careers goals is to become a financial investor just like Warren Buffett and maybe a psychologist.
CEO, Web Designer and Developer

Hi, my name is Matt and I’m a 13 year old tech-addict from Cambridgeshire, England. I spend most of my time on Twitter, or playing with Photoshop. I code websites in my spare time, although I also love a bit of gaming on my Xbox! I’m also an admin on a private design forum, and has helped design small parts of many sites.
My artwork has been featured multiple times on the deviantart page, won many competitions, and I’m currently practising icon design, so you probably won’t see much activity from his dA! I’ve won all three IT awards at my school, 2 of the three art awards, and one for my essay on bully’s psychology.

The name is Alexander Long I am Malaysian teen who does not aspire to be the next James Bond or anything of the sort. Wait.. with the exception of the girls! Xavier has actually helped me to construct my own blog http://www.zotcool.com that will hopefully be published very soon! Surprisingly Xavier asked me to join him and well I will try my best to type useful posts from ‘A consumer’s point of view.’
I have to confess that I am not technology’s best friend and it is not uncommon to see me hacking away at my PC with a jackhammer or sometimes, if that is unavailable the computer mouse ( or a real one!). I am however an amazing consumer who loves all those darling gadgets out there and my parents are constantly bugging me that I am wasting space on the PC with useless applications. Anyway, back to the point, I hope that all of you reading this will enjoy my posts. Cheerio.

My name is Dustin Snider and I am a 14-year-old web developer, entrepreneur and student in Central New York. I am the teen who thinks sitting outside in a chair programming a website is a fun time. I started out at age 12 playing around with FreedWebs slowly learning HTML and later other versions of programming. As time went on I started to learn more and more about web development.
So, I got very interested and started building websites just for fun. I later got the privilege to work with Livingston Technologies. While working with them I managed CoolText.com. I worked with them on two other projects before leaving to start my own company writing scripts for Ning Networks.
I later was looking for a cool way to expand my work on Ning.com . I joined up with SitePower (a 3rd Party Developer Company) together we made few cool addons for Ning Networks with Javascript. Ning later changed there 3rd Party policy’s and stopped allowing Javascript development. I took a break from custom development on the web for 2 months. In that 2 months I just built sites for friends. As I went on I learned PHP, JQuery, Javascript, Java.
Currently, I am the CEO of SocSos, Co-Founder of Yazzem, Community Developer for 12 Fruits and VP Engineering for Teens in Tech Networks.
