The Motorola Devour is the next Android phone coming to Verizon. It isn’t a Droid competitor but an alternative. The Droid beats the Devour in screen size, speed, and the operating system. Best Buy kicked off its Devour pre-sale earlier this week.
Usually phones are sold with a rebate, you pay some extra money, they give it back to you later. Best Buy has not setup a rebate system with the Devour. The way Best Buy will be doing things is with a gift card. If you signed up for the pre-sale you are required to buy a $50.00 gift card (hopefully spendable) that will hold your spot in line, what a new way of doing things.
Will you be buying a Devour? We will have to wait until the 25th to see the price point, hopefully something to compete with the HTC Droid Eris price point of $100.00.
