CES: AT&T’s Press Conference

Today at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) AT&T talked about 7 new smartphones. They include WebOS and Android.

Engadget was blogging live during the AT&T press conference. It seemed like they got the message HTC, Dell, and Palm didn’t want to talk about the specifics of each device.

Dell released its first smart phone today. It is called the Mini 3 and it will be running Android. The phone will be coming is the first half of 2010, according to Dell‘s blog. The Mini 3 has already been released in both Brazil and China. Also, AT&T is talking about releasing four more, but never went into detail in the press conference.

Palm will also be releasing two new WebOS devices. No information was given on the devices, but they will be released next year.

AT&T will also be using a new “Brizzly” application engine. I am sure more information on these new phones will be released in the coming months, stay tuned.
