Many users on Facebook have been asked to be a beta tester for Facebook Lite. This scaled down version of the popular social networking site was introduced in late August, which is trying to compete with Twitter.
One good thing about this version is that it’s less cluttered than the regular version of Facebook. Facebook chat is not an option for users, but uploading photos and videos can be done on your home page with a simple click. You can also look at upcoming events on the main top bar.
One thing I do like about Facebook Lite is the loading time. This would be a good solution if you constantly check your friend’s posts throughout the day.
